In the State of Arizona it is mandatory to have auto insurance for a reason, it protects the driver in both vehicles. In Arizona you must have liability which, if in a car crash, will cover the other driver’s bodily injuries and property damages if the crash was due to your error. However I would recommend, in Arizona, you also have under insured motorist coverage, since we have so many under-insured and uninsured drivers. You never know when you will get in a car crash or with who, so it is best to be prepared. Let’s say you get hit by a driver that is speeding and does not have insurance, your car is not fixable and you have passengers, the UN/under-insured motorist coverage will allow you to cover their bodily injuries and your vehicle. Which will allow you to get a new vehicle and cover your passengers’ medical bills. I have seen so many friends and family get hit by drivers who did not have insurance leaving them with banged up car that could not be legally driven on the road. I know I have uninsured/under-insured motorist coverage because having a young daughter, being a full-time student and having a full-time job I cannot afford to be without a car.

Hey just wanted to tell you all about my experience so far as a young mother in Arizona (AZ is top ten in teen pregnancies).
I found out I was pregnant at 17, with my high school sweet heart, I can say we were not ready to have a child. Knowing we were not ready for this I knew I was not able to give my child up for adoption or have an abortion.
